We were delighted and honoured to discuss issues regarding waste management with Ms. Kanni Wignaraja - UN Assistant General Secretary , Mr. Sunghoon Ko - Country Director of KOICA , Ms. Ayshanie Medaqanqoda-labe - UNDP Resident Representative, H.E Gilles Bourbao - French Ambassador to Nepal and other respected delegates.

The "Green Job Creation through Recycling and Upcycling Project" ensures to create jobs through waste management.

It was discussed in the meeting that knowledge regarding waste management segregation should be carried in community level. To ensure proper waste management, Pokhara Metropolitan City commits to work policies regarding proper operational manuals, monitoring mechanism and community co-operation.

Waste management is a global issue and We were very thankful to Mr. Sudip Aryal , Head of Field office of UNDP of Gandaki Province for his co-ordination and co-operation in this meeting.
